ABOUT THIS GOAL
Decent work means opportunities for work that is productive and pays a fair income, with security in the workplace and social protection. Many workers, especially young people, are unemployed or in informal and unsafe jobs.
Goal 8 aims for full and productive employment and equal pay for work of equal value, an end to forced and child labour, safe working environments, and growth that does not come at the cost of the environment.
