Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
ABOUT THIS GOAL
Conflict, insecurity, weak institutions and limited access to justice remain a threat to sustainable development. Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes.
Goal 16 aims to reduce all forms of violence, end abuse and trafficking of children, promote the rule of law and equal access to justice, reduce corruption, and build transparent institutions that respond to people's needs.
